After completing her undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Esin Güral Argat pursued a master’s degree at Istanbul University’s Institute of Business Economics and founded Güven Çini ve Seramik in 1992. Since 1998, she has led Gürok Group’s growth and international investment strategies, as well as the development and creation processes of all brands within the Group. Since 2009, she has served as Vice President of the Board of Gürok Group. Esin Güral Argat has led the development of several of Gürok Group’s prominent brands, from concept and strategy to the establishment of their commercial networks. These include LAV, the world’s fifth-largest glassware manufacturer; GCA, an international player in the glass packaging industry; Ali Bey Hotels & Resorts, which has brought innovation to the tourism sector; JOALI Maldives, an ultra-luxury resort; and JOALI BEING, the Maldives’ first hotel built around a well-living concept. These brands have received numerous prestigious awards globally. BIJAL, launched in 2023 in the ultra-luxury segment, has also brought a new perspective to the tourism industry.
Committed to making a difference in every role she undertakes, Esin Güral Argat prioritizes sustainability, particularly regional development and gender equality, through her civil society initiatives as a Board Member of TİKAD, GİRVAK and TÜRKONFED.
Esin Güral Argat served three terms as a Board Member of TÜSİAD and led its Digital Transformation Roundtable. As a TÜSİAD member, she has also served on the Tourism Working Group, the Regional Development, Business and Civil Society Relations Commission, the Social Relations Commission, the Women’s Working Group on the EU Accession Process, and the Social Policies Forum. In 2022, she served as the TİKAD representative and Head of the W20 (Women20) Türkiye Delegation, one of the G20’s engagement groups. As of 2025, she has once again assumed the role of Head of the Women20 Türkiye Delegation.
Between 2021 and 2025, Esin Güral Argat served as a Board Member of Fenerbahçe Sports Club, Chairman of the Board of Fenerium at Fenerbahçe Football A.Ş., and a Board Member of Fenerbahçe Football A.Ş.
As Türkiye’s first and only elected female president of a chamber of commerce and industry, Esin Güral Argat serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KUTSO) and as a member of the TOBB High Coordination Board. Continuing her efforts to advance regional development and international cooperation, Esin Güral Argat serves as the Honorary Consul of Mexico in Kütahya. Her consular jurisdiction covers Kütahya as well as Bursa, Eskişehir and Afyonkarahisar, where she contributes to strengthening relations between Türkiye and Mexico and fostering new opportunities for cooperation. Starting from Kütahya, she works to build bridges between the two countries across trade, manufacturing, tourism, entrepreneurship and culture.
